Varanasi Morning I and II

Shortly after Holi, in March of 2006, Waswo X. Waswo made a visit to the Hindu pilgrimage city of Varanasi with his assistant M. Srinivas Rao. These two images were made during a sunrise walk they made together along the sacred ghats of the Ganga.

The image size of these two archival digital prints measures 9.75 x 13 inches. They are printed on Hahnemuehle Fine Art Paper. The initials “W.X.W.” are embossed in the lower right-hand margin, and the artist has signed and numbered each print. The edition is limited to three.

Framed in simple black frames measuring 19 x 22 inches, these two photographs are offered as a set of two for $600.
